Lucille V. Waldoch, of Forest Lake, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2012, while surrounded by her family, just one month before her 90th birthday. Lucille was a strong and loving woman who worked hard all of her life. She had lived the last 64 years on the family farm, where she raised her six sons, and subsequently created wonderful memories with her fifteen granddaughters, six grandsons, and their families. Despite the fact Lucille had been wheelchair bound for 16 years, she never once complained and lived a good life right to the end. The entire family drew inspiration and strength from her.
Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sr.; son, Eugene; daughter-in-law, Patricia; siblings, Irene, Bud and Betty. She is survived by her sons, Larry (Diane), Nick (Kathy), Joe (Patti), Don (Sheila), John (Barb); daughter-in-law, Faith; 21 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and sister Joanne (Harlan) Hokanson. A special thank you to Lucille's dear friend and caregiver, Dawn.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 13, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Elm Street, Lino Lakes. Visitation 3-7 p.m. , Sunday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and one hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
