Cleitus Bracht

Cleitus Charles Bracht, age 88, of Stacy, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on March 23, 2022, while surrounded by family.

Cleitus proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He was a hard-working mason for many years and was proud of his work while running his own business and being a union bricklayer member. Cleitus loved his family immensely and dedicated his life to them. He enjoyed traveling around the United States with them, making great memories.  Hunting, fishing, softball, and snowmobiling were just some of the hobbies he enjoyed with his family and friends. Cleitus served his community and was a longtime member of the Stacy Lions Club. A special thanks to Comfort Keepers and Accentcare Fairview Hospice staff for their compassion care of Cleitus.

He is preceded in death by parents, Henry and Christine; 11 siblings; former wife, Carol; and beloved pets.

He is survived by son, Herb (Diana); twin daughters, Cathy (Mike), Cindy (Todd); grandchildren, Anna (Matt); Brock, Kamryn (Bill); Paige, Connor; great grandchildren, Breckyn, Brogan, Brynna, Jameson; sister, Rose; many nieces, nephews other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM, on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 31075 Genesis Ave, Stacy.  Family will be greeting friends an hour and a half prior to the service at the church.  Private family burial at Stacy Cemetery.
