Agnes J. Strand Bartz, age 88 of Roseville, formerly of Ada, died January 26, 2009 due to complications of Parkinson’s

Preceded in death by 1 ^st husband, Arnold Strand; 2 ^nd husband, Herb Bartz; siblings, John, Harold, and Hannah.

She is survived by children, Ruth (Clark Williams) Strand, Arthur Strand; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings, Ellen Wawers, Charlotte Cummings, Norma Willson, Ralph Blegen, Fern Blegen, Paul Blegen; many brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Agnes was a teacher for many years in the Ada-Lockhart School District. She will always be remembered for her endearing sweetness and wonderful gardening.

Visitation 5-8 PM, Wednesday, January 28, 2009 with time of sharing at 7:30 PM at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 30, 2009 at Grace Lutheran Church, 110 3rd Avenue East, Ada, MN. Visitation will continue one hour prior to funeral at church on Friday. Interment in Ada Cemetery.
