Allan Anderson

Allan W. Anderson, age 86, of Forest Lake, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2014 at Birchwood Health Care Center. Allan was a farmer and carpenter. He proudly served our country during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Agnes; sister, Arlene; brothers, Merle, Charles, Gordon. He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 59 years, Shirley; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment at Victor Hill Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Birchwood Health Care Center and Allina Hospice for their concern and care. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Association.
