Allen Austad, Jr

Allen O. Austad, Jr., age 52, of North Branch, MN. Al was born Dec 20, 1957 in Saint Paul, MN and preceded in death by his parents Allen Oscar Austad and Jeanette Elizabeth (Lee) Austad. He passed away unexpectedly on Oct 31, 2010, while restoring his retirement home. Al is survived by his best friend/wife Pam; son Allen O. (Camille) Austad III; grandson Allen Oscar IV; daughter Tiffany; siblings, Sherry Rand, Brenda (Dennis) Collins, Roxanne (Steve) Peltier, David (Rose) Austad; stepfather Ron Varney; in-laws Cindy (Donny) Westcott; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members. Al worked for Rexam Beverage Can Company in Saint Paul for 34 years. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m., Friday, Nov 5, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 425 S Field Ave., Rush City, MN. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 N Shore Dr., Forest Lake. Visitation will continue one hour prior to Mass. Interment at Oak Park Cemetery, Forest Lake.
