Alton B. Kalsnes, 85, of Forest Lake, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 surrounded by his family. Survived by wife, Evelyn; sons, Dennis & Jim; grandchildren, Matthew & Heidie; brother, Donald (Marlene); sisters-in-law, Bernie Kalsnes, Myrna Kalsnes, Joyce (Kalsnes) Lerol; and many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters; and 4 brothers. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2014 at Elim Lutheran Church 20971 Olinda Trail North, Scandia. A gathering of family and friends will be two hours prior to services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
