Amy E. Kimball, age 54 of Forest Lake, formerly Chicago Lakes and Lake Elmo, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2018. As a teen Amy played softball, ran in track, sang in choir, played French horn in band and was a waitress. As a young adult she spent a year in Alaska following her sister’s death. As a mom and wife she was a fantastic cook, and made their house the place where her boys’ friends hung out, often in numbers, and more often overnight. “I had seven rental kids here overnight,” she’d say. (Sometimes 12). How she loved those kids. On her wedding day she changed her high heels for white cowboy boots and rocked “Johnny B. Goode.” She’d get up and sing with any band that’d let her. She was funny, talented, generous and loving. She will be missed and remembered by scores of people whose lives she touched. Amy is preceded in death by her infant sister Sarah and adult sister Beth. She is survived by her sons; Spencer (Nicole) Kimball, Logan (Alicia) Kimball; future granddaughter; parents Daniel and LaVyrle Spencer; ex-husband Shannon Kimball; brother-in-law, Shawn Kimball; niece, Courtney Kimball and many close cousins, aunts and uncles and loving friend Ron Orfei.
