Andrew Nerhus

Andrew Nerhus, age 65 of Forest Lake, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. Andy was born, January 10, 1948 in Windom, Minnesota, the son of Arthur and Lois (Olson) Nerhus. He graduated from Storden High School, Class of 1966. Following graduation, he furthered his education at Augsburg College, the Air Force Academy and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor Degree in Business. Andy was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church, Forest Lake; where he lived for over 30 years. In his free time he loved sports and most importantly, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents. Andy is survived by his daughter, Caroline Nerhus; son, Andrew Nerhus; grandchildren, Sameel Khan, Carlie Nerhus; siblings, Robert (Dee) Nerhus, Pam Nerhus; other family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 30, 2013 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake; and one hour prior to the service at the church.
