AnnMarie Bashynski

March 2, 1971 — January 15, 2015

AnnMarie "Annie" Lee Bashynski, 43, of Forest Lake, MN left this world to be with Jesus early Thursday morning, January 15, 2015. After standing on her strong faith to battle cancer for over two years, she passed away peacefully at home with her loving family members. Annie was born on March 2, 1971 at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Paul, daughter of Cheryl (Vaillancourt) Cline and Martin Chilefone. During high school, she was active in softball, volleyball, and choir. After graduating from Johnson High School in 1989, Annie earned an Associates Degree in Business Management through Inver Hills Community College and Edison State Community College in Piqua, Ohio. Upon graduation, she worked several short-term jobs and administrative positions for the State of Minnesota Department of Higher Education and Department of Children, Families, & Learning. In July of 1998, Annie met Bart Bashynski at Country Jam USA in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. They were married on October 30, 1999 at St. Odilia Church in Shoreview and honeymooned in Aruba. After the birth of oldest son, Marty, in 2001, Annie became a domestic engineer (at-home mom) and helped her sister, Debbie, at her daycare business. It was at that time that Annie and Bart began attending Maranatha Church and became active in the children's ministry. She continued to do the same following the birth of youngest son, Cayden, in 2005. From late 2012 - early 2013, Annie worked as a mortgage closer for Remote Closing.com. Annie enjoyed watching movies, all types of exercise and sports, walking her dogs Codie and Nanuk, riding motorcycles, and singing along to all types of music (especially KTIS) on the radio. She also enjoyed volunteering at the boys' schools and managing their hockey teams. Most of all, she loved spending time with the Lord, her family, her friends, and bible study groups. She especially liked boating on the St. Croix River and going to cabins during the summer for family and girls' weekend vacations where she would boat, tube, water ski, fish, play yard games, and go dancing. She will always be remembered for the love and Christian values she displayed to her husband, sons, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by: father, Martin John Chilefone; mother-in-law, Shirley
