Arline “Allie” D. Miller, age 82, of Grey Cloud Island, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2024.
Arline was a remarkable homemaker who dedicated her time and energy to creating a warm and welcoming home for her family and everyone she met. She excelled at crafting, with a particular talent for sewing, painting ceramics, and creating beautiful macramé pieces. Her artistry was a reflection of her vibrant and imaginative spirit.
In her adventuresome spirit, Arline experienced the thrill of motorcycle rides, snowmobile trips, camping excursions and soaring through the skies aboard Lowell's airplane.
Arline's most treasured role in life was that of being a loving and devoted wife and mother to her husband, Lowell Miller and children, Terry, Lowell “Tommy” and Tammy. Together, they shared a love that was truly extraordinary and inspiring. Arline brought immense love, warmth, and laughter into their home, making it a place of solace and joy for all who entered. Her kind and nurturing nature earned her the endearing nickname of "Ma Miller," a name that encompassed her motherly love and unwavering support to not just her children, but to all of their friends as well.
Arline touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving an indelible mark of love and compassion. Her presence was a source of strength, and she had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel valued and important. She was the glue that held her family together.
Arline Dorothy Miller will forever be remembered for her vivacious spirit, unwavering love, and her ability to bring joy into the lives of all those around her. Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us as we navigate our own journeys.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Dorothy; daughter, Terry Jannetto; son, Lowell “Tommy”, son-in-law, Lonnie Bogovich; brother, Mike Makousky; and brothers-in-law, Bob, Conrad, Stanley, Dave, Rudolph “Pete”.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 65 years, Lowell; daughter, Tammy Bogovich; son-in-law, Jimmy Jannetto; grandchildren, Sara (Aaron), Shane; great grandchildren, Khloe, Isabel, Freyja; sisters, Annie, Gladys and Arlene, niece, Krista; and nephew, John.
A Celebration of Arline’s life will be greeting friends 12-4 PM, on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the Forest Lake American Legion Post #225, 355 W Broadway Ave, Forest Lake. Interment will take place at Acacia Park Cemetery, Mendota Heights, Minnesota at a future date.
