Arnold
O. Hanson, age 91 of Forest Lake, died peacefully on Monday, December 22, 2008 surrounded by his beloved wife and family. Arnold was well known for the unique crosses he made from nails and used that as a form of ministry, sharing them willingly with people from all walks of life. He was a longtime member of Lord of the Lakes Lutheran Church in Forest Lake, Minnesota. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Lewis and Pauline (Schultz) Hanson and sister Florence Borgwardt. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lottie, of 67 years; sister Alice Winsand and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of His Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Lord of the Lakes Lutheran Church, 25402 Itasca Avenue, Forest Lake (Cty Road 23 & Hwy 8). The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Private family interment will take place at a later date in Gilmanton, Wisconsin.
