Arnie Radtke, age 78, of Forest Lake, Minnesota passed away peacefully, February 19, 2009 surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary; brother David Radtke. He is survived by his wife of 53 years LaVone; son Steve (Nancy); grandchildren, Jimmy, Nichole, Ashlee and Jacob; great grandchildren, James Isaac, Jacob and Joie; siblings, Walter (Gertie), Erwin (Joyce), Alfred (Bev), Raymond (Janet), Kay (Verlo) Larson, Betty (Cliff) Anderson, Sally (Earl) Carlson, Faith (Kenneth) Peterson, Sharon (Steve) Kari; many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
A Celebration of His Life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, February 23, 2009 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Faith Lutheran Church Prayer Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Faith Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
