Barbara Reed

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Barbara Jo Reed, who passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer.

Barb was born on March 20, 1955, in St Paul, Minnesota to Dale and Marian Reed. She grew up in Maplewood alongside her siblings, and attended North St. Paul High School and went on to attend Lakewood College and the University of Minnesota.

Barb was a loving sister and friend, she enjoyed her time with friends, working in theater and choir and volunteering her time with charity and church.

Barb was preceded in death by her mother and father Marian and Dale Reed and survived by her brothers Doug, Scott (Sue), Kurt (Jean), and nephews David, Dan, Ron and great-nephew Noah.

A celebration of Barb's life will be held at 11:00 AM on March 23, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church 5879 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming MN 55092. A private interment will be held with family at a later date.

We will miss her dearly but take comfort in the fact that she is now in a better place.
