Beloved Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma & Sister

age 99 of Hugo, Minnesota passed away peacefully May 15, 2009 surrounded by her family. Beatrice was born December 15, 1909 in Split Rock, Wisconsin. Beatrice was united in marriage to her husband Eldon Coates in 1935. With this union they started the Coates Trailers family business in 1938. After retirement in 1969 they moved to Lake Winnibigoshish and finally settling at their daughter’s home in Hugo in 1994. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband and 2 sisters Lenora Harwood and Vera Staidl. Survived by her son, Jerry (Judy) Coates and their children: Suzanne (Craig) Peterson, Steven (fiancee Aimee Blackstad) Coates and Sarah (Jesse) Lange; daughter Judy (Jerry “Jess”) Jessen & their children Nicole (Bill) Tschohl and Christoffer (Amy) Jessen; 9 Great Grandchildren; brother, Edmund “Bud” Schoeneck and other extended family. A Celebration of her life will be at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 N. Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Family will greet friends from 10:30 am until time of service. Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date towards an Autism Foundation.
