Bernard Ashbach

Ashbach, Bernard "Spike", age 88, of Forest Lake and Marco, FL, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2008
Preceded in death by his wife, Arlene "Ronnie"; brothers Robert and Clarence.
He is survived by his children, Sandy (Richard) Anderberg, Diana Ashbach, Bernard "Nick" (Pam), Steven (Annette), Susan (Jerry) Tienter, Gregory, Richard (Daniela); 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Jean Swanson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ashbach was the past owner of Ashbach construction. He was a devoted husband and father, active in his communities, most notably with Masonic Lodge 344 and the Forest Lake School Board. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII.
Funeral Service 11 AM, Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 4-8 PM, Friday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, with Masonic Service at 8 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service at church. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park, St. Anthony. Memorials may be directed to Forest Lake Masonic Lodge 344.
