Bernice Hall

Bernice I. Hall, age 94, of Wyoming, passed peacefully on November 7, 2015, while surrounded by her family. Bernice was born on January 30, 1921 to Henry and Augusta (Feider) Bussiere in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She grew up in Saint Paul with 7 siblings. She attended St. John the Baptist Catholic School and Harding High School. Following High School, Bernice met and married Leonard R. Hall and together they had six

children.

Following Leonard's tragic death in 1968, Bernice went on to Nursing School in Superior, Wisconsin. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse and served a brief period at Moose Lake State Hospital before going on to St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota. After retiring from nursing in the late 80's, Bernice moved to the Forest Lake area. Bernice was a devout woman and always filled with energy. She offered her time and talents to volunteer at the Church of St. Peter. She was a prolific knitter, gifting her many works to family and friends. In addition to playing the penny and nickel slots at area casinos, Bernice enjoyed the

camaraderie of playing games. Some of her favorites were Uno, Yahtzee and Phase 10. Bernice's zest for life and strong, independent

nature will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; son, Timothy; siblings, Marie, Edward, Bernadine, Lorraine. Bernice is survived by her children, Bill (Nancy), Gerri (Jack) Nedland, Richard, Mathew (Linda), Janet; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Hall; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Josephine "Dude", Audrey "Aud" (Dave), Greg; many nieces and nephews. Celebration of Bernice's Life will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 16, 2015 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Family Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Sheldon, WI. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
