Bradley L. Frenning

Bradley Leo Frenning, age 62, of Linwood Township, Minnesota, died on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Brad was born on September 27, 1962, in Chisago City, Minnesota, the son of Robert and Norma (Priebe) Frenning.

Brad attended Forest Lake High School and later graduated from Chisago Lakes Baptist School in 1981. Following high school, he began working at Plastic Products in Lindstrom, Minnesota, before starting a long and dedicated career at Zahl Petroleum Maintenance, where he worked until his passing.

Brad’s life was marked by his love for family, his kind-hearted nature, and his willingness to lend a helping hand. He was married to Linda Stanway for several years, and together they had two sons, Josh and Blake. In 1997, Brad married Mary Forliti, and the couple built a life together in Linwood Township, Minnesota, until Mary’s passing in 2023.

In his free time, Brad found joy in simple pleasures. He enjoyed building puzzles, gathering around bonfires, and spending time with his family and his cherished pets. Brad had a heart for his community, attending Maranatha Assembly of God and seeking opportunities to support others. He was known for his generosity, frequently picking up food from Ruby’s Pantry to distribute to local families in need.

Brad is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Norma; his beloved wife, Mary; and his brother, John Frenning.

He is survived by his sons, Josh Frenning and Blake (Chantelle Turpin) Frenning; his siblings, LeAnn Anderson, Curt (Robin) Frenning, and Valerie Johnson; as well as his beloved dogs, Penny, Max, Lily, and Buddy. Brad also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 24, 2025 at Marantha Assembly of God, 24799 Forest Blvd., Forest Lake, Minnesota. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
