Brenda Frankenberg

Brenda Frankenberg-Feidt (nee Bunny Engelstad), age 61, passed away at home, Friday, May 10, 2013 while surrounded by family. Survived by loving husband, Tom Feidt; daughter Kelly (partner Donna Nguyen); stepdaughters, Melissa Calder (Reagan), Sarah Feidt, Allie Feidt; stepsons, Michael Frankenberg (Tera), John Frankenberg (Tara); fourteen grandchildren and one on the way; mother, Betty Engelstad; sisters, Julie Stack (Jim), Jill Jurchisin (Craig), Lisa Engelstad; brothers, Paul, Jeff and Steve; along with many nieces and nephews; also many in-laws both in the Frankenberg and Feidt families; Brenda had many aunts, uncles, cousins and longtime friends. Preceded in death by husband, Michael Frankenberg; father, Alfred Engelstad; mother and father in-law, Donna and Frank Frankenberg; brother in-law, Pat Frankenberg; sister in-law, Mary Feidt; great nephew, Dakota Stack. Brenda fought a ten year battle with cancer and was blessed with many prayers from her family and friends and many people at church, including those she had not met. She appreciated and loved every one of you. She was active with the church, nursing home, involved in the Girl Scouts, loved sewing, crafting, traveling, hiking, tennis, theatre, cooking and baking. She was also active in (but not good at) skiing (downhill and cross country), snow tubing, snorkeling and snow shoeing. She had a wonderful life and had a lot of faith and trust in God. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake; continuing from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Community prayer service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.Interment at Morningside Memorial Gardens. Memorials are preferred to the Church of St. Peter or Bethesda Lutheran Church (Food Mission), 23406 56th Avenue W., Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043.
