Carole Dufresne

Carole J. Dufresne, age 93, lifelong resident of Forest Lake, died peacefully while surrounded by her family on Monday, June 2, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Martha (Rumby) Engquist, husband, Wilmer; sisters, Elvera, Millie. She will be deeply missed by her sons, Ken (Kathy), Roger (Mary); five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; many other family and friends. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2014 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m., until the time of service. Private interment at Twitchell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a charity of choice. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and friends at Birchwood Health Care Center for their devoted care and attention given to Carole over the past three years.
