Cecilia C. Dubois

Cecilia “Ceil” Catherine Dubois, a beloved mother, grandma, great grandma, sister, and friend, passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 81.

Ceil was born on April 21, 1942, in Dubuque, Iowa, to Arthur and Helen Koch. Here she met the love of her life, Tony, and soon after they were married on December 3, 1962 in Lindstrom, Minnesota.  The two lived in South Carolina and Florida before their final move to their beautiful farm in Scandia, Minnesota.

Those who had the honor of knowing Ceil would describe her as a loving, generous and honest individual.  Ceil strived to create a loving environment for her husband and kids.

Ceil could often be found tending to her vegetable garden, crocheting, cross stitching, or spending time at Turtle Lake Casino with her husband, Tony.  She loved to banter with family and friends, and always made sure those around her were happy.  Ceil was also a passionate cook, and loved to prepare a wide variety of foods for anyone who was hungry.

Ceil is survived by her five children, Rick (Kathy) Dubois, Julie Dretsch, Tammy (Vern) Weik, Tania (Mike) Bower, Chad (Michelle) Dubois, nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; sister, Juanita Hesseling.
