Carlson, Charles "Charlie"

age 73 of Little Canada

died, Thursday, October 11, 2007 following a lengthy illness surrounded by family.

Charlie was born May 25, 1934 in North Branch, Minnesota, the son of Oliver and Evelyn (Nelson) Carlson. He proudly served his country for twelve years in the United States Air Force.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 32 years Jo; and brother, Harold. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him including his daughters, Rhonda (Phil) Boudewyns, Theresa (Rich) Weyandt; grandchildren, Krista, Katie, Jonathan, Jennifer; siblings, Roland, Allan (Rosemary), Norma Bowen, Ken, Bob (Donna), Shirley (Perry) Lewis, Earl (Faye), Otto (Nita); numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Maplewood, Minnesota.

Charlie, like so many others who have selflessly served our country for our freedom, leaves behind a grateful nation.
