Died August 23, 2006, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with colon cancer.
Retired as a Chief Petty Officer after 24 years of serving his country in the United States Navy. Lifelong member of Sgt. John Rice VFW Post 6316 in Blaine.
Preceded in death by father Edwin and infant brother Gary.
Survived by loving wife of 35 years, Karen; daughter, Melissa and her son Andrew and fiance Tony and his children, Tyler and Kyle; son Michael; mother Bette; sisters, Toby (John) McGarthwaite, Andria (Joe) Klucas; many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends local, and at the Bear Lake Campground.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 28, 2006, Linwood Covenant Church, 6565 Viking Boulevard NE, Linwood, MN. Visitation 9:00 a.m., until time of service at the church. Burial at Victor Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family in his name for designation at a later date.
