Charles Sampson

Charles "Chuck" Sampson, age 86, of Forest Lake, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2011, surrounded by loved ones in his home. Preceded in death by wife, Dorothy and brother, Ira. Survived by significant other Marian Oman; children, Judy (Rich) Nelson, Dale, Marty (Doreen), Tom (Lori), Jim (Katy), Randy (Jeanette); ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; brother, David (Lily); and other extended family and friends. Chuck was a 40 year employee of Electric Machinery. He enjoyed flying, fishing, hunting, and metal working projects. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Mattson Funeral Home as well as one hour prior to the service. Interment at Oak Park Cemetery, Forest Lake. In Lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
