Cheryl Cline

January 26, 1947 — October 31, 2015

Cheryl Ann (Vaillancourt) Cline, age 68, of Shoreview, was welcomed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Saturday evening, Oct. 31, 2015. After humbly and faithfully serving her Lord and Savior, He answered her prayers and called her home. Always loving and giving, Cheryl continues to give through her gift of organ donation. Cheryl Cline was born on January 26, 1947 in Superior Wisconsin to Beecher and Maryann Vaillancourt. She was the second of nine children. She grew up on the East Side of St Paul and attended Johnson High School. She married and had 3 beautiful daughters. She devoted 34 plus years to the Minnesota State Patrol and made it a career she truly enjoyed. In the mid 70's her brother Louie introduced her to his best friend, Jesus, and she has been on fire for the Lord ever since. While attending Church of Acts she met her Knight in Shining Armor and his two children and in 1982 they became one family and over time grew to 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. One of Cheryl's greatest joys was teaching the little ones about the first love of her life, Jesus. The Church of Acts family helped her discover her inner joy for worshiping and praising the Lord through the music ministry which she was a part of. After Church of Acts her daughter Annie introduced her to her new Church family at Maranatha Assembly of God where she continued her joy of teaching children through children's ministry.

Some of Cheryl's greatest joys were spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren's activities (especially hockey) even to the point of attending 4 events in one day. Cheryl's bubbling joy and loving personality was felt by everyone she came in contact with. She was a devoted woman of God who faithfully spent time everyday in the Word of God, prayer, devotions and ministering to others. She was truly one in a million. Preceded in death by daughter, AnnMarie (Chilefone) Bashynski; parents; mother-in-law; 2 brothers; and brother-in-law. She is survived by her husband, Pat; children, Rick (Cheryl), Domonica (Clint) Finne, Debbie (Erik) Teske, Lisa Marie (Jay) Lovgren; son-in-law, Bart Bashynski; grandchildren, James, Jake, Jessica, Nick, Isabel, Bryce, Austin, Caitlyn, Crysta, Benjamin, EmmaMarie, Marty, Cayden; great grandson, Gavin; siblings, Bucky (Linda), Valerie Yobbie, Beecher Jr. (Linda), Renae (Lou Vitiello) Vaillancourt, Robert (Colleen), Michelle (Zane) Morgan; sister-in-law, Marge Ervin; brother-in-law, Dave (Barb) Cline.
