Constance Elaine Anderson, lovingly known as Connie, left us on September 2, 2023, surrounded by her beloved family. Born on April 1, 1948, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Robert and Jo Gross, she brought light and joy to all who knew her.
Connie's warm and caring nature was evident in every aspect of her life. She found purpose and fulfillment in creating a loving home for her children and supporting her husband, Raymond, throughout their marriage.
Connie's memory will forever be held dear by those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her infectious laughter, compassionate soul, and gentle guidance were a source of solace for many. Her love of baking, reading, going to garage sales, watching classic television shows and of course talking on the phone, brought joy to both her loved ones and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; son, Timothy. She is survived by her children Penny (Tom) Dibley, Nancy (Dennis) Hackler, Phil (Karina) Anderson; grandchildren, Briana, Timothy, Rebekah, Ethan, Austin, Maria; Oliver; siblings, Bonnie, Sharon, Jim, Sue; many other family and friends.
In honor of Connie's life and her impact on our hearts, a memorial service will be held at 11: 00 a.m., Friday, September 8, 2023, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment at Elim Cemetery, Scandia, Minnesota
In this time of mourning and reflection, let us find solace in the memories we shared with Connie and the love that she spread throughout her life. Together, we will honor her by carrying her light within our hearts and living by her example of kindness, compassion, and selflessness.
Rest in peace, dear Connie. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
