Craig Andersen

Craig G. Andersen, age 73, passed away on October 17, 2013 after a courageous battle with lymphoma. Craig is survived by his loving wife, Elaine; his children, Randy, Linda and Mark; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren and his brother, Douglas. Craig was a respected architect and in his later years, he was an architectural consultant and a member of the Forest Lake Planning Commission. Craig loved the outdoors and the lake activities which he enjoyed with his family and friends. He was an avid golfer, a ferocious reader and was constantly busy with outdoor activities and projects around the Forest Lake home he designed and built. Craig will be deeply missed by his wife and family. "You made us feel safe and protected. You were the one with your feet on the ground. You will always remain in our hearts and souls, dear Craig." Funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
