Passed away peacefully February 1, 2009.
He was born January 28, 1921 to Frank & Anna Lawrence in Withrow, MN.
Curt was an avid fisherman, hunter and snowmobiler. He belonged to the Sno-goers Snowmobile Club. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII, having served in North Africa, Germany, Italy, and Sicily.
Preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; sister, Dorothy St. Germain; and brother, Harley Lawrence.
Curt is survived by his son, Terry (Sandy) of Marine on St. Croix; grandson, Troy (Kerry Guzek); granddaughter, Kyleen Lawrence (Scott) Harstedt; brother, Vern Lawrence; sisters, Lucille Engstrom, Audrey Coughlin and Shirley Gervais.
Funeral service 6:30 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Forest Lake Christian Church 420 W. Broadway. Visitation 4:00-6:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Graveside service 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2009 at the Emily Cemetery, Emily, Minnesota. Memorials may be made to Quilts of Valor.
