Cynthia Johnson

Cynthia Verna Johnson, age 74 of Scandia, Minnesota, died peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2016. Cindy was a registered nurse; graduating from Abbott Northwestern Nursing School in June of 1962. She worked for several years at St. John's Hospital in Saint Paul. She also worked in the libraries for the Forest Lake School District and as secretary for Forest Hills Golf Course. She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church for over 40 years. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and traveling. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Elizabeth (Eisen) Bohrer. She will be deeply missed by her husband Ken; sons, Brian (Marie), Brad (Stephanie), Brent; grandchildren, Hunter, Nick, Jordan, Ashley, Mark, Tyler; sister, Carolyn Oldre; many other family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Ecumen Parmly LifePointes and Interm Hospice for their devoted care and support of Cindy. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and one hour prior to the service at the church.
