Dan Moravec

Daniel “Dan” Moravec, age 53, of Forest Lake, Minnesota, passed away on May 15, 2023.

Dan was born to Tom and Joan on October 15, 1969, in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Growing up in Wyoming, Minnesota, he loved playing football and was very athletic.  Dan loved family time whether it was hiking in the woods, fishing, or just being around the backyard bonfire.  He enjoyed woodworking and mowing his perfect lawn. 

He is survived by children, Jessica (Steven), Aaron, Kimberly; grandchildren, Aria, Addison, Knox, TaMara; parents, Tom and Joan; brothers, Mike (Marcy), Pete (Andrea); nieces and nephews; mother of his children, Melody; and girlfriend, Lori.

A celebration of Dan’s life will take place at 5 PM on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  Family will be greeting friends 3-5 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the family.
