Dana Lindgren

Dana L. Lindgren, age 57 of Marine on St. Croix, died Monday, June 2, 2014 while surrounded by her family. Dana attended Forest Lake High School. She worked as a billing coordinator at the University of Minnesota and Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center. She was united in marriage to Richard Lindgren on September 8, 2001 at Linwood Covenant Church. Dana enjoyed playing Scrabble, swimming and floating in the water, biking, fishing, watching movies, cooking and playing spoons. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, excellent joke telling, and beautiful smile. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hemmer. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Richard; children, Jeremy (Denise) Pfaffendorf, Adria Gillespie, Christina (Matthew) Schubert; step-children, Nicole (Jake) Biskey, Jake Lindgren, Hillary Lindgren; grandchildren, Miranda, Alaina, Nessa, Alex, Anatasia; mother, Audrey Hemmer; siblings, Deborah (Gregory) Freundschuh, Denise (Jeff) Gillespie, Bobbi (Tom Beckman) Rolow; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home.
