Darlene Armstrong

Darlene Kay Armstrong (Wakem), age 58, of Stacy, MN gained her wings, and gracefully passed from this world on March 10th, 2016 with family by her side. Preceded in death by life companion and husband of 33 years, Kevin Armstrong, and father, Wallace Wakem. She is survived by her mother, Mary Wakem; son, Jesse Armstrong; daughter, Kelly (Tom) McGuire; granddaughters, Aubreauna, Gabriella, and Jocelynn, her loving dog, Irish, as well as three brothers, two sisters, and a great web of extended family and friends, and loved ones. Darlene worked as a X-Technician at St. John's, District Memorial Hospital, and finished her career at Fairview Wyoming Hospital. Darlene was a strong, kind, gentle, and loving soul with a positive aura, and never spoke badly of anyone. Some of Darlene's passions were her grandkids, Irish (her dog), Keno, enjoying her coffee on the deck, listening to music, nature, fishing, flowers, Colorado Bulldogs, sitting by her rose garden, and spreading love and joy at her workplace and everywhere she went. She had a positive impact on everyone she met and will be greatly missed. Any memorials will be used toward her Celebration of Life gathering which will be held on Saturday, June 4th at her home. Lunch will be provided.
