David Schak

Age 68, of Forest Lake, passed away after a courageous 7 month battle with cancer on December 3, 2009, while surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; son James; sisters, Donna Kringle and Patricia Pluff. David is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; children, Ken (Nancy), Larry (Denise), and Christine (Ed); grandchildren, Matthew (Tara), Michael, and Michel; brother-in-law Ken (Barb) Kringle; many nieces and nephews; special friend Norm Coen.

David retired from North Star Steel in Newport and GML in Vadnais Heights.

Gathering of family and friends 4-8 PM, Monday, December 7, 2009 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. A Time for Sharing will begin at 6:30 p.m.
