David Schwelling

David G.Schwelling, age 58 of Marine on St. Croix, Minnesota passed away July 20 after a 15 year battle with colon cancer. David was born January 5, 1954 to George Conrad and Elna Lou (Johnson) Schwelling in St. Paul, Minnesota. David worked for Minnesota Department of Corrections for 26 years. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survived by wife of 25 years, Lois (Davidson); children Jacob (15) and Leah (13); sister, Marge Fleming and brother, George (Susan) Schwelling. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Lakes Free Church, 29629 Olinda Trail, Lindstrom, MN. Visitation will be 4-8 pm., Tuesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 N. Shore Drive, Forest Lake and continue one hour prior to services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family preferred.
