Delora Hibbard

Delora A. Hibbard, age 88, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 19, 2019.

Delora Hibbard was born in Clinton Township, Barron County, Wisconsin on August 26, 1931 to Carl and Irene Dahlberg while they resided in Poskin, Wisconsin.  Graduated from Forest Lake High School in 1950.  Married Harvey Lindgren and had 5 children, Bonnie Lindgren, Kermit (Beverly) Lindgren, Grace (Saul) Carbajal, Michele Lindgren and Kevin (Carmen) Lindgren.  Later married Richard S. Hibbard, Sr. and had 2 additional children Richard S. (Teresa) Hibbard, Jr. and Amy White.  During this period Delora spent her time as a housewife, office support, bookkeeping and waitressing.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing, especially making clothes for her children.  During her retirement, she spent her time in Arizona and Texas and began sewing quilts and learning various needlepoint techniques.  Delora was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Delora is survived by sister, Janice Hansen; 3 brothers, Bruce (Joyce) Dahlberg, Galen Dahlberg, Thomas (Betty) Dahlberg; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters (Alma Dahlberg, Eunice Forsell), 2 brothers (Aaron, Carl, Jr.)  and great granddaughter Francesca.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 23, 2019 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m., until the time of service at the funeral home.  Interment at Lakeside Cemetery, Cumberland, Wisconsin.
