Dennis Russ

Dennis L. Russ, age 63, passed away suddenly at his home on May 20, 2013. Dennis was born on December 27, 1949 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents Elmer and Donna Russ. Dennis was a proud employee of Birchwood Healthcare Center for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his beloved pets Sandy and Tigger. He also had a love for the outdoors and gardening. He was preceded in death by Joyce Johnson. Dennis is survived by his daughter Tammy Russ; son Travis (Jodi) Russ; grandchildren Kegan, Marie, Anna, and Korbin Russ; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2013 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery, Forest Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
