Preceded in death by parents and sister, Margaret Nordin.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth; daughter, Merrie Ann (Harvey) Glowaski; sons, John (Donna) and Allan (Diane); grandchildren, Michael (Kirsten) Glowaski, Julie (Richard) Lee, Gabrielle (Cara Pederson) Grant, Danielle Grant, Steve (Stacy) Grant, Johnny (Heather) Grant, Michelle (Trevor Rokusek) Grant, Jimmy (Lori) Grant, and Brian (Sara) Grant; great grandchildren, Josh & Madelyn Lee, Joe, Kaitlyn, Kourtney & Kiley Glowaski, Noah & Taylor Grant, Emma & Ike Pederson.
Don was Postmaster in Wyoming and Forest Lake for 35 years, retiring in 1977. He served as president of the MN Chapter of National Association of Postmasters and remained active in the Retired Postmasters Association.
Included in Don's many civic activities he was an active member of both the Masons and the Shrine.
Funeral Service 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 26, 2005, WYOMING UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 5459 Viking Blvd., Wyoming. Visitation 4-8 PM, Friday, November 25, 2005 MATTSON FUNERAL HOME, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the funeral Saturday at the church. Interment in Linwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Wyoming United Methodist Church.
