Donald Olson

Donald Leroy Olson 1930-2015 Of Chisago City, formerly of St. Louis Park and Laporte. Preceded in death by parents, Nels and Hattie; wife, Betty. Survived by son, Gregory (Sue); grandchildren, Justin, Annika; great granddaughter, Regen; sisters, Gwen Langermann, Darriel "Dolly" Bergfeld; significant other, Nancy McCarty. Don attended the U of M before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. He served as an Air Traffic Control Officer during the Korean War. After retiring from the Air Force, He worked another 20 years for Mpls. Moline and served as a Union Steward. Funeral Service 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Parmly LifePointes Chapel, 28210 Old Towne Road, Chisago City. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment at Lakeport Cemetery, Laporte, MN. Memorials may be made to Parmly LifePointes.
