Preceded in death by first husband, Archie Mattson; second husband, Herman Hermel; daughter, Janice Mattson; 4 siblings; sons-in-law, Roger Shipley, Norman Holm.
Survived by children, Barbara Holm, Sharon (Claire) Bismark, Fred (Kathy) Mattson, CheeChee Shipley; step-children, Barb (Cliff) Holcomb, Donna Hanzel; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews; sister, Lily Olson; special friend Connie Fangmeier.
Doris will be remembered for her love of traveling and fishing and her great sense of humor. The family wishes to thank Parmly Lifepointes for the loving care they extended to Doris and her family.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Fish Lake Lutheran Church, 43353 Cedarcrest Trail, Harris, MN. Visitation 10 am until the time of the service. Interment in Fish Lake Cemetery.
