Douglas Dumire

Douglas Ronald Dumire, age 53 of Forest Lake, died surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Doug was born February 16, 1957 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of Ronald and Louise (Mikish) Dumire. Doug graduated from Forest Lake High School. Following graduation he furthered his education with various cooking and welding classes. He worked as a machinist for Bridgewheel for many years before becoming a “Jack of All Trades” with Dayton Corporation. Doug who was fondly known as the Grillmaster will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him including his devoted mother Louise; siblings, Kathryn (Nabil) Kayali, Fred Dumire, Donna Leohr, Wanda Dumire, Charles Andrew Dumire; many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 9, 2010 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m., until the time of service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, Minnesota 55025; Forest Lake Senior Center, 767 SW Fourth Street, Forest Lake, Minnesota 55025; or to the family.
