Duane Garrison

Duane Garrison, age 77, of Linwood, Minnesota passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Duane proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a longtime truck-driver, working for Oscar Roberts. He was very involved in local thrashing shows with his variety of tractors. Duane is preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his children, Shanon (Todd) Larkey, Mark Garrison, Tracy (Mike) Burger; four grandchildren, Heather & Matthew Larkey, Karissa & Karlye Garrison; great-granddaughter, Bethany Pemper; four siblings, Shirley (Stan) Dennis, Muriel (Dave) Bacon, Gerald Garrison, Gordon (Carolyn) Garrison; former wife, Gloria Pedersen and other extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 26, 2012 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment at Victor Hill Cemetery, Linwood, Minnesota.
