Earl Olmstead Jr.

Earl E. Olmstead Jr., age 82, of North Branch, Minnesota, died peacefully while surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.  He is preceded in death by his siblings, Alan, Bob, Richard, Joan.  He is survived by his wife, Sue; children, Mike (Shari) Olmstead, Jill (Rob) Olson, Shelly (Jen Rood) Olmstead, Steve (Lisa) Olmstead; grandchildren, Tim, Randy, Alec, Jake, Gunnar, Evyn; siblings, Jim, Carol, Judy, Barb, Bill, Mike; other family and friends.

The family will greet friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.  Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Earl, please wear your favorite Twins jersey, camo, blaze orange or lucky fishing shirt.
