Edison Allen Bryant

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Edison Allen Bryant, who left us on November 29, 2024, at just three months old. Edison was born on August 25, 2024, to parents Nathan and Shannon Bryant. Though his time with us was far too short, Edison’s impact on those who knew him was immeasurable.

Edison’s sweet smile, bright eyes, and gentle spirit brought joy and love to all around him. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Nathan and Shannon; as well as his sister, Quinn; grandparents, Edward (Deborah) Bryant, Edward Liljedahl, Tammy Liljedahl; great grandparents, Roland (Joyretta) Stricklin, Mel Liljedahl; aunts and uncles, Alysha (Tyler) Metzdorf, Erin Liljedahl, Caitlyn (Jon) Tautant; cousins, Evelyn, Barrett; other family members and dear friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. 

Edison is preceded in death by great grandparents, Ina Liljedahl, Joel Peterson, Sheila Lundberg, and John (Vonnie) Bryant.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible doctors, nurses, and staff at Children’s Hospital St. Paul and Minneapolis as well as M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital, who provided Edison with such compassionate care during his short time here. Their dedication, support, and kindness meant the world to our family, and we are forever grateful for their efforts in making Edison’s time with us as comfortable as possible.

Though Edison’s life was brief, his spirit will remain in our hearts forever. We find peace knowing he is now in the arms of angels.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM, on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN. Family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Private family burial at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Hugo.
