Edith Williams

age 96, of Stacy

Went home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2009 with family by her side at Birchwood Health Care Center in Forest Lake.

Edith was born September 13, 1913 in Norcross, MN. She married Carl Williams on May 27, 1935 in Morris, MN. To that union 11 children were born.

Preceded in death by her husband; sons, Laurence Calvin (Jean) Williams, Dale Edward Williams; grandsons, Keith Christians, Todd Williams, Brody Jones, Baby boy Williams; brothers, Arvid (Orpha), Roy (Evelyn), and Lloyd Lundgren; sister, Edna (Bud) Bartells; daughters-in-law, Marie, Wanda, Carol.

She is survived by her children, Anna (Stanley) Christians, Carl Otto (Janet), Norman (Mavis), Paul, Carolyn Edith (Arthur) Reichstadt, Loretta Mae (George) Hetherington, Lloyd Warren, Robert Lee, JoAnna (Russ) Jones; sister Mae Lundgren; 40 grandchildren; 103 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2009 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 31095 Genesis Avenue, Stacy. Visitation 5-9 PM, Friday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service Saturday at church. Interment in Stacy Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or it’s school.
