Edryce Anna Marie (Johnson) Lund, age 100 of Scandia - A generous Christian lady who loved her family, friends, church, and community.
Edryce was born on August 5, 1922, the daughter of Arthur and Esther Johnson. She attended Big Lake one room schoolhouse and graduated from Forest Lake HS in 1940 – salutatorian of her class. Edryce attended Mpls Business College and worked as a bookkeeper at Montgomery Wards. In October 1945 she married Carl Lund upon his return from WWII. She was a farm wife who worked hard both as a homemaker and helper with the farm chores. Edryce was a lifelong member of Elim Lutheran Church. She was involved in the women’s organization, taught Sunday School, made quilts and loved being the pianist for many events. The Good Cheer Club was a part of her community involvement where she helped with many projects.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl, son Richard and son-in-law Gary.

great grandchildren, Justine (Chris), Kayla (Ryan), Stephanie (Brent), Callie Jo, Luke, Jacob, Andrew, Jordyn, Madi, Logan, Gavin, Grayson, and Marielle; great, great grandsons, Able, Liam and Phil; as well as nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am, on Monday, January 16 2023, with visitation beginning at 10am at Elim Lutheran Church, Scandia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Elim Lutheran Church Organ Fund, Quilters, or the Food Shelf.
