Elise Palacheck

Elise J. Palacheck, age 47 of Forest Lake, died, Sunday, January 11, 2009 following a courageous battle with cancer. Elise enjoyed crafting, travel, photography, and gardening and was very active in the St. Peter’s Catholic Church community. Above all she cherished each and every moment spent with her family. She will be dearly missed by those whom her life touched including her devoted husband Del; children Ashley, Julie (fiancé Paul), Stephanie; parents, Eino and Ethel Mattson; siblings, Elaine (Harley) Long, Eero (Nadya), Eric (Amy), Eugene (Shelley); many other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 15, 2009 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday and 9:00-10:00 a.m., Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake. Memorials are preferred to the St. Peter’s Hand Bell Choir.
