Elizabeth J. “Libby” Jeschke, age 29, of Scandia, Minnesota passed unexpectedly following a courageous battle with life.  All who knew her, knew her struggle was real and one that she was determined to beat.  Libby was born August 1, 1991 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Gerald Jeschke and Kirsten Libby.  She graduated from Hopkins High School, Class of 2009.  She went on to further her creative and artistic spirit, studying music and marketing at ASU before switching gears and receiving her certification in massage therapy.  Always one for an adventure, she lived in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota enjoying opportunities to express her talents.  In recent years she worked as a government relations specialist at Libby Law Office, P.A. and then hit her stride, studying herbalism at the Midwest School of Herbs and Healing, and as a shopkeeper at Apothecary’s Daughter in Scandia, Minnesota.  She enjoyed taking classes in herbalism and looked forward to one day taking over the shop.  Libby loved life!  She loved children!  She loved animals!  Libby loved.  She always looked forward to weekends at the cabin where she would spend all day wakeboarding and being with friends and family.  She also loved horseback riding, swimming, the color Pink, and being a drama queen.

Libby would have done anything for anyone.  She was protective, kind, funny and had a smile that could light up the room.  She was that person the people were drawn to.  Libby will be forever loved and the void that her absence leaves behind will never be filled.  She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bob and Jean Libby; beloved dog, Bubs.  She is survived by her father, Jerry Jeschke and stepmother, KoniKaye Jeschke; mother and stepfather, Kirsten Libby and Bill Strusinski; sister, Ally (Dylan Resig) Jeschke; paternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Jeschke; stepbrothers, John Beach and Daniel Morgan; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday at Elim Lutheran Church, 20971 Olinda Trail North, Scandia, Minnesota.  Due to current restrictions, seating is limited at the church and the church asks that you RSVP to Mattson Funeral Home at 651-464-3556 or info@mattsonfuneralhome.com if you are planning on attending the church service.  A luncheon will be held at the Scandia Community Center, 14727 209th St N, Scandia, following the service.
