Ester was born January 25, 1916 to Jacob G. and Rosa (Schock) Ritter in Wishek, North Dakota. She graduated from Wishek High School on May 24, 1934. Following graduation she worked as a stenographer at the county Welfare office in Ashley, North Dakota until 1943. Ester proudly served her country in the United Sates Army during WWII. Following her honorable discharge in 1946 she worked as a travel agent for AAA in Fargo where she lived until 2004. She then moved to Chisago City to the home of her niece, Marjorie & Greg Buettner. She became a full time resident of Margaret's House/Parmly Residence in Chisago City in 2005. Ester is survived by 1 sister, Delores Kelly; many nieces, nephews and other extended family. Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM Friday, December 7, 2007 at Margaret S. Parmly Chapel, 28210 Old Towne Rd., Chisago City, MN. Private interment at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
