Eugene Tacheny

Eugene R. "Butch" Tacheny, age 77, of Forest Lake, Minnesota, died peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2014. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Helen; step-father, Maeland Meyer; granddaughters, Kali Hutton, Morgan Straley; siblings, Raymond, Virginia, Jim, Don, Loretta. He is survived by his daughters, Renee Straley, Missy (Keith) Hutton; grandchildren, Logan Straley, Jordan Straley, Jacqueline Hutton, Katelin Hutton; siblings, Arlene (Carroll) Anderson, Sandy Pedersen; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 3, 2014 at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Monday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Church of Saint Peter.
