Evelyn Schwensen

Evelyn Ann (Buettner) Schwensen, age 95 of Minneapolis, died peacefully on July 12, 2014, in Minneapolis at home under the care of her daughter. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Mike) West, Nancy Bromirski, Sandra Forsman, Janette (Richard) Hansen; daughter-in-law Bette Schwensen; 15 grandchildren 29 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert; son Bob; daughter Myrna Schewe and great-grandchild Tara Lynn Schewe and her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth. She was born June 28, 1919 in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska. Evelyn accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and strived to serve as a Christian witness. Her Christian influence is evidenced by the family and friends that she touched. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday, July 18, 2014 at Immanuel Church, 9511 West Broadway, Forest Lake with visitation one hour prior at church. Interment will be in the Oak Park Cemetery, Forest Lake following a light lunch at church.
