Florence Charboneau

Florence D. Charboneau, age 96, of Forest Lake, Minnesota, died peacefully while surrounded by family and friends on March 21, 2014. She is survived by four daughters, Margie Scruggs, Gerrie Lachowitzer, Jeanne Couture (Walter) and Kathy Engelhart (Robert), twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy McCormick (Don), brother, Robert (Geri) Drassal. Florence is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Jay; two brothers, Al and Roy Drassal; four sisters, Mary Hottinger, Elsie Saver, Grace Lassen and Jo Lendway; and son-in-law James Lachowitzer. Flo and Jay Lived in St. Paul for 41 years before moving to Forest Lake and Flo loved her home on the lake for the past 37 years. She was a member of the Young at Heart Club, the Saturday Birthday Club, and the Red Hats. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Church of St. Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter's Church, School or Masses are preferred.
